Previously however, they have come back after I'd restarted my PC, or simply left it for a while. Diligent searching always failed to come up with a way to get them back.
Occasionally, these buttons have disappeared from one or the other of these spreadsheets! (Not from all of them) The macros themselves were all still there, and functioned (by keystroke combination) as per usual. Most of these macros are run from command buttons in the various worksheets. I work with several spreadsheets, most of which contain a number of macros I've written (or adapted from others' work).
This time, not so much, so maybe this will help someone else. I've had a lot of help from this type of forum over the years.
